Solzie Soaps & Candles began in the most unexpected way. As a Holistic Therapist working from home, the pandemic forced a pause on my business, but it also sparked a journey I never saw coming.

Having grown up with epilepsy and insomnia since I was 12, I was always searching for natural ways to heal my body and mind, tired of relying on pills. My love for natural products started when I bought my first essential oils book as a teenager. It quickly became my passion.

During the pandemic, I began researching the basics of aromatherapy and became more mindful of the products I was using. After noticing black marks on my ceiling from candles I lit and red bumps on my thighs from a scrub I used weekly, I realized that many common ingredients in products weren’t as harmless as they seemed.

This led me to create Solzie, a brand born from my desire to offer safe, natural alternatives for self-care. I named it Solzie after my mom’s nickname for me. She taught me everything I know about skincare and had the most beautiful skin. Though she passed away when I was a teenager, I know she’d be proud of what I’ve created today.
